Each Profile is separated into 3 pieces that need to be founds around either Stilwater or Steelport, and can be accessed at any time at the Purgatory or the Saints Penthouse. As for the face I'd suggest slim down the neck/jaw width. Its just that much more awesome playing these open world, sandbox type games as a character that you created yourself and I think its a shame that more games of this genre dont offer the same kind of freedom. All in all, it makes it look like a "frankenstein" effort because the characters are still trying to animate, speak, and express themselves as if they were the old models.Character Profiles give details about characters present and past characters in the Saints Row series. I've been playing saints row 2 again lately, and going from 2 to 3/Inauguration Station the male character build seems really bulky and unnatural (especially with clothes on), I get the style they are going for, but personally i don't want my character to be a massive brute. One of the things I love the most about the Saints Row games is the freedom they give you to truly create any character you want. The rigging of the skeletons is still the same as the old one. You'd expect facial animations and expressions to actually be one of the things improved when you're told to make something look better and more realistic. It's actually a wonder how a studio charged with a remaster could not notice that, or knew it and still let it slide anyway. They used the animations from the original, making the facial expressions look very stiff and when the characters speak, the lip sync is off. In fact, part of the problem is that although the models were updated, the facial expressions, animations, and lip sync were NOT. Realistic doesn't necessarily mean better. What's wrong with the updated model? It looks way more realistic.

Photo realism isn't always the best option but you can still have increased fidelity while keeping a style. I kind of liked the cartoonish style too. I guess that is a fair thing to argue over. I doubt a "maintain consistency with art style and design" clause was in that contract or a requirement. They were asked to improve models, and that's what they did. But since Sperasoft did this remaster and not Volition, I guess I can't blame them for not knowing what vision Volition had for the game. Sometimes this a problem when remastering a game, since you're expected to make everything look better while still maintaining consistency in the art style and design. It's why some of the new character models (while technically impressive) make them look completely different, as to be a different person altogether, and do NOT fit in with the rest of the game's cartoony look. What I think he means is that they went for the realism angle when it comes to the characters, which sharply contrasts with the rest of the game's art style, which is meant to be cartoony. You're insane mate, and need an eye test apparently.
